Spring Up Cycled Sweater Collection 2016
The sweaters in this gallery are one of a kind. Some are a unique style and some are styles I repeat with unique sweater material each time...the result is a cozy vivid fun piece you can throw on with jeans or over a dress in the evening as the air chills.
For size and price info, open the gallery and on the front view of each style you'll find color, style name, fabric content, size and price info. If you see something you like, reach me here if you need more info about size, how to pay, or the cost of shipping.
This year I have enjoyed producing and selling the 'everything' GIANT TOTE.
This tote is big and soft and made out of luxurious upholstry fabrics, mostly jacquards, and some woven stripes. The bags are reversible, so you can change the whole feel and color of the style throughout the season. The straps are wide enough to be comfortable in you hand for carrying while long enough to easily go over your shoulder.
Click on the pictures below to open the gallery, float your curser over the image to see information for each image.
The GIANT TOTE is $88.
You can always reach me here for cost to ship to you...
RICH & LUXURIOUS UPHOLSTRY FABRICS
Only One UP cycled Sweaters + Clothing
Each sweater is a remake of used and re- purposed sweaters, jackets and knitwear. Content varies, mostly wool and cotton + some linen, silk and acrylic knit wear. Each is a unique item. Some vintage sweaters and beading, vintage buttons and random fabrics employed in the creation of each sweater. I sell them privately, through festivals and trunk shows, as well as at Flow in Marshall NC.
Movement and love of costume and cloth come together in Twirl...enjoyable clothing. Soft stretchy pants, tunics, camisoles, slips and t shirts in cottons knits, lycra knits and nets. Designed for many size bodies and available off the rack or made to order. Twirl is availabe at Flow in Marshall, and at private trunk shows and special sales.
Twirl clothing is for feeling beautiful and comfortable while living, moving, stretching, stepping into the day and dancing into life.
Special credit to Steven Hanner for photographs in the white space.
Flower allows me to paint with the smallest pieces of saved cloth.
I respond to the colors I see in the changing seasons in the mountains. I let flowers and plant shapes and patterns in nature inspire this collection. The scarf is how this work began, and I now create and embellish clothing, handbags, blankets and even small journals and cards in this style I call Flower.
